Diseño de un plan de entrenamiento y programa IFM a nivel Compañía que permita mejorar la condición física para optimizar la capacidad de combate

La presente memoria recoge el trabajo elaborado para diseñar un novedoso plan de entrenamiento anual destinado a mejorar las capacidades físicas básicas necesarias para el combate. Asimismo, el plan propuesto permite trabajar los componentes de condición física necesarios para la superación del Test General de Condición Física (TGCF). En el estudio se analiza el estado del arte de los métodos de entrenamiento que se han desarrollado durante los últimos años para implementarlos en la nueva planificación. Además, se tiene en cuenta la situación actual y los conocimientos deportivos del Regimiento de Infantería “PRINCIPE” Nº3 con el objetivo de identificar los principales puntos débiles. A raíz de estos resultados, se propone un nuevo plan de entrenamiento desarrollado con herramientas de elaboración propia, que permitirá mejorar los inconvenientes detectados en la realización de la formación física hasta este momento.<br /

Geometric documentation and photogrammetric stereoplotting of Labraza walls (Álava, Spain)

Genetic and environmental factors related to the development of myopic maculopathy in Spanish patients

High myopia and the subsequent degenerative changes of the retina, choroid, and sclera, known as myopic maculopathy (MM), are a serious visual problem in many Asian countries, and are beginning to be so in the south of Europe, especially in the Mediterranean. It is therefore necessary to carry out genetic and environmental studies to determine the possible causes of this disease. This study aims to verify if the genetic factors that have been most related to Asian populations are also associated in two Spanish cohorts. Eight SNPs from six genes (PAX6,SCO2,CCDC102B,BLID,chromosome 15q14, andCOL8A1) along with demographic, ophthalmic and environmental factors were analysed in two cohorts from a total of 365 highly myopic subjects and 177 control subjects. The genetic analysis showed thatCOL8A1SNP rs13095226 was associated with the development of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) and also seems to play an important role in the increase of axial length. The SNP rs634990 ofchromosome 15q14also showed a significant association with MM, although this was lost after the Bonferroni correction. Additional demographic and environmental factors, namely age, sex, smoking status, and pregnancy history, were also found to be associated with MM and CNV in this population

Entre los días 1-5 de julio 2019 se celebró en Bilbao la XV Reunión Nacional de Cuaternario. Este congreso de la Asociación Española para el Estudio del Cuaternario (AEQUA) fue organizado localmente por la Unidad de Formación e Investigación en Cuaternario de la UPV/EHU y, entre sus distintas actividades,incluyó 2 salidas de campo. Una primera salida intra-reunión denominada “Historia ambiental de la Ría de Bilbao y su registro sedimentario” tuvo lugar el martes 2 de julio por la tarde, y a través de 4 paradas a lo largo del estuario analizó sus registros sedimentarios holoceno y antropoceno. Una segunda salida post-reunión titulada “El Cuaternario en el Geoparque de la Costa Vasca” se realizó durante el viernes 5 de julio, en la que siguiendo 8 paradas a lo largo del territorio del geoparque se expusieron sus registros geológico, antropológico y prehistórico más significativos.Las entidades colaboradoras de la XV Reunión Nacional de Cuaternario han sido Aranzadi Zientzia Elkartea, Arkeologi Museoa, BC3-Basque Centre for Climate Change, Beta Analytic, Eusko Jaurlaritza-Gobierno Vasco, Geogarapen-Asociación para la Gestión del Geoparque de la Costa Vasca, Sociedad Geológica de España, Sociedad Española de Geomorfología y Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. Long-term follow-up of certolizumab pegol in uveitis due to immune-mediated inflammatory diseases : multicentre study of 80 patients

Objectives To evaluate effectiveness and safety of certolizumab pegol (CZP) in uveitis due to immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMID). Methods Multicentre study of CZP-treated patients with IMID uveitis refractory to conventional immunosuppressant. Effectiveness was assessed through the following ocular parameters: best-corrected visual acuity, anterior chamber cells, vitritis, macular thickness and retinal vasculitis. These variables were compared between the baseline, and first week, first, third, sixth months, first and second year. Results We studied 80 (33 men/47 women) patients (111 affected eyes) with a mean age of 41.6±11.7 years. The IMID included were: spondyloarthritis (n=43), Behçet's disease (n=10), psoriatic arthritis (n=8), Crohn's disease (n=4), sarcoidosis (n=2), juvenile idiopathic arthritis (n=1), reactive arthritis (n=1), rheumatoid arthritis (n=1), relapsing polychondritis (n=1), Conclusions CZP seems to be effective and safe in uveitis related to different IMID, even in patients refractory to previous biological drugs

Reorganization of functional connectivity as a correlate of cognitive recovery in acquired brain injury.

Cognitive processes require a functional interaction between specialized multiple, local and remote brain regions. Although these interactions can be strongly altered by an acquired brain injury, brain plasticity allows network reorganization to be principally responsible for recovery. The present work evaluates the impact of brain injury on functional connectivity patterns. Networks were calculated from resting-state magnetoencephalographic recordings from 15 brain injured patients and 14 healthy controls by means of wavelet coherence in standard frequency bands. We compared the parameters defining the network, such as number and strength of interactions as well as their topology, in controls and patients for two conditions: following a traumatic brain injury and after a rehabilitation treatment. A loss of delta- and theta-based connectivity and conversely an increase in alpha- and beta-band-based connectivity were found. Furthermore, connectivity parameters approached controls in all frequency bands, especially in slow-wave bands. A correlation between network reorganization and cognitive recovery was found: the reduction of delta-band-based connections and the increment of those based on alpha band correlated with Verbal Fluency scores, as well as Perceptual Organization and Working Memory Indexes, respectively. Additionally, changes in connectivity values based on theta and beta bands correlated with the Patient Competency Rating Scale. The current study provides new evidence of the neurophysiological mechanisms underlying neuronal plasticity processes after brain injury, and suggests that these changes are related with observed changes at the behavioural leve
